This year at the Hannover Messe (HMI), we will be presenting six drive solutions in the field of high-precision motion and positioning systems, among other things. The precision cross tables and precision gantry are the focus of our trade fair visit this year.

The systems are always used when, in addition to high absolute and repeat accuracy (in the ±0.5 µm to ±2 µm range), the straightest possible movement (straightness and flatness in the 5 - 50 µm/ 300 mm range) is required. For instance, in high-precision inspection systems, laser micro-machining, high-speed placement place machines or large-format dispensing or parts testing. “We design our precision systems in a type of modular system”, explains Werner Mäurer, Managing Director of HIWIN GmbH. “Standardisation saves our customers time and money for engineering work and still gives them a wide range of options and customer-specific adaptations”.

We have long been known as more than just a component manufacturer. We use our own drive components for our comprehensive positioning and motion solutions.

The precision systems can be seen live at the trade fair in Hanover starting 22 April 2024, along with many other exhibits. We will be exhibiting at the HMI in Hall 7, Booth D32.
